Bruce Banner is a central figure in Marvel's Thor Ragnarok movie (2017). A brilliant scientist specializing in nuclear physics, he transforms into the Hulk, a large, green, and incredibly powerful alter ego, due to exposure to gamma radiation.
After a long time, Banner had managed to control the Hulk persona enough that he was able to integrate himself into the Sakaar community as a gladiator. He was known as the champion of the Grandmaster's Contest of Champions.
Throughout Thor Ragnarok, Banner struggles with the ongoing transformation, and is uncertain if he will ever be able to control the change.
